Biathlon World Cup Nové město na Moravě 2023

After a two-year break, the World Cup race returned to Nové město na Moravě. And it was finally big again, like the years before Covid. We built a total of 3 large tents and almost 50 scissor tents including interior equipment as a background for organizers, volunteers, stall holders and visitors. We had LED walls all over the area near each grandstand. It was nerve wracking, but everything went well. A total of 86,000 spectators visited the area during the 4 days of the races. The Czechs, in turn, proved that they have a real interest in biathlon. The Czech women's relay quartet won back bronze medals from the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The roar of the stands was electrifying, the atmosphere at that moment could be cut. Even the biggest stars paid tribute to the race organizers and fans: "It's the best here, almost 30,000 spectators and everyone is crazy about biathlon. I walked through the mixing zone and didn't even hear the journalists' questions. There is a great atmosphere, everyone is smiling," confessed Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Boe, the best biathlete of today. While the tents and other equipment are back in storage, we are already planning the Biathlon World Championships 2024.
