World cup MTBO Jičín 2023

After an eight-year hiatus, the World Cup mountain bike orienteering races returned to the Czech Republic and of course we were there! The races took place in the age categories of adults and juniors in the vicinity of the towns of Jičín and Nová Paka, the towns of Mostek and Pecka and the village of Jabkenice on the border of the Central Bohemia and Hradec Králové Region. The week-long series of 5i races in the vicinity of Jičín was a real production and logistical challenge for us. Every day we built, demolished and transported an arena of 4 dozen scissor tents, 2 tons of furniture and fences to the corridors of the orienteering races. Our crew and logistics pushed themselves to the limit. We moved 50 pallets of material a day with a fleet of semi-trucks and several other box vans. It really wouldn't have been possible without the high commitment of our entire production crew and the help of volunteers from the race organizer. The construction, demolition and moving of the race arena was planned down to the minute, there was no time for any delays. The mountain bike orienteering series was very successful for the Czech racers who took home several championship titles and additional medals in the sprint, long distance, mass start and relay races.
